Surviving as a family farm for 70 years has been a challenge. When Dan’s grandfather named Deerfoot farm in 1947, the family started out raising pigs and chickens. Since then, our family has had a dairy, raised produce, and our latest adventure is making wine.
As the next generation, we intend to uphold our family traditions and maintain a working farm. We will continue to raise soybeans and produce top quality hay. Adding grapes & wine (and blueberries) to the mix is our personal twist to the family business.
